Pictures from our cruise on Wind Dancer to
Gananoque and Kingston, Ontario and points
between and beyond
July 12--July 21, 2002
We sailed about 26 miles from Sackets Harbor to anchor off
Carleton Island in the St. Lawrence near Cape Vincent (no pics). Next day
we sailed to Gananoque, Ont. in the heart of the Thousand Islands, cleared
customs etc. Stayed at the dock in Gan for a day. Then two days anchored in
Brakey Bay, Wolfe Island. Three days in Kingston, then anchored in Kerr Bay,
Amherst Island. And then anchored in Prinyer Cove, Bay of Quinte. We had a
blast of a sail ~35 miles home to Navy Point, Sackets Harbor from Prinyer.
The wind died as we entered Black River Bay.
